The only change I made was that I switched out the arm warmers to these shorter ones with more lace which made all the difference. And as much as I loved the blue skirt, not only is this one fluffy furry soft in texture I’ll be able to rewear this more, like in a Hello Kitty fan look with the arm and leg warmers! The white shirt won out in the end because the back has the cutest little curl tail butt on it… and while it won’t be in the formal pictures my backside does often get a lot of screen time when I’m leading games so I figured it would give something to look at 😳…

This was how I answered the tests of knowledge my 10 year old Demon Slayer obsessed party kids challenged me with to prove I was real. The best part is that it works with the lore, as my character does die and get reincarnated in the story arc.

I won them over with ribbon dance wands that were like my nichirin katana to dance to the birthday girl’s two favorite songs, a killer trivia game set, and later on… Limbo!

Doing this party for @creativepartiesforkids pushed me creatively, as I had zero knowledge of the Demon Slayer anime and a very short amount of time to make the magic happen (I’m a planner who really likes to have the immersion of the world down) and tweens can be a hard sell at the best of times but the look on the birthday girls face as I entered… 💖 yep!

The more time I spend as her the more ready I am to go back to this hair for real life. Also, I have never worn overalls this much as I have for @creativepartiesforkids and @playandparties in the last six months 🤣

Played with some of the sweetest toddlers today, hung out with a party of toddlers last Saturday and I’m going back out to do it all over again for a preschooler on Sunday! 💗

Gotta catch ‘em all! I spent my afternoon train

Gotta catch ‘em all! I spent my afternoon training junior Pokémon trainers at a party where we used our analog Pokédex to find lost Pokemon and recapture them to return them to the Pokemon Center for Professor Oak.
We also played a lot of other fun themed games, sand the happy birthday song in Pikachu, and celebrated the birthday boy through bringing his favorite fandom to life!
