I’m not even sure where to start about @comiccon I’m not even sure where to start about @comicconrevolution but.. wow! Wow is a good start! I debuted a new costume Saturday and an upgraded one Sunday, with a whole lot of last minute bits going on. First, a Ms Rachel of my own has been on hold for months because I was afraid to cut the wig- 11pm the night before CCR I finally got the courage to cut the ponytail I put it up in. And yes, it completely changed how I felt about the look coming together; I felt like the real thing with the haircut. Sunday’s decision to be BarbiePool came about because my son wanted to wear his Deadpool, and I finally got that kick to “just decide and go for it” on the font design and colors for my trainee vest. And I’m so glad I did - that vest changed my costume from “it’s pink Deadpool?” To “OMG you’re Barbie Deadpool ❤️” reactions all day long. Thank you for those- mash ups either hit or miss the mark and to have it be both recognized and appreciated is super special. I was pretty busy both days with con programming - Saturday with the “kids play break” panels with my team and then Sunday with the Kids’ Cosplay Contest where my team lead an interactive halftime show game while the judges deliberated - but did hit the dealers hall and artist alley both days. I would not have said no to a third day of the con where I didn’t have commitments and could just hang out and maybe go to panel… but also I was so tired by 2pm Sunday… Con Crash is REAL!

Story time and games and a “kids play break” is a great way to recharge before going back out to the main events! I’m partnering with @legend.fresh.ent and some special guest cosplayers for each kids event this weekend- hope to see you there!
Is it Revenge of the Sixth or Revenge of the Fifth Is it Revenge of the Sixth or Revenge of the Fifth? I guess it depends on if you’re Orthodox or Remastered. Which are you? Either way, as we wrap up the May 4th celebrations, I’m excited to see where the @droidsmithsunion is headed in the future as a newly acknowledged costuming group by Lucas Film! For me, this means this version of my Droidsmith won’t be going on official “Service Calls” but she’s getting a revamped look to meet the updated in uniform specs! A new costume to plan- oh dear! 😂
