Your Photographer
I love photographing candid moments and honest expressions. My favorite moments are those unguarded moments of interaction between family members.
I try to avoid stiff, formal posing, and instead prefer to set people up in a position together, and then allow them to be themselves. This allows for a visually dynamic set up that doesn’t feel like traditional posed portraits.
With children, I prefer to let them be themselves. There is never “say cheese” – we goof off, play games, and you’ll probably think I’ve lost my mind occassionally, but I get the best expressions that way. My goal in a session is for the children to come out of it having had a good time, and not want their new friend to have to leave.
