Portrait Parties
Portrait parties are a chance to get some friends together, get great images of your children, and get hostess rewards!
How does it work?
Portrait parties are child-only 30 minutes mini-sessions scheduled back to back. Each client will arrive for their assigned time slot, and we’ll start shooting!
Each portrait party is themed: Special themes include “Vintage Visions,” “Spring Garden,” “Classic Expressions” and “Pettiskirt Princesses.”
Time permitting, an outfit change per child is allowed. And of course we’ll photograph siblings together and apart!
Portrait parties must be booked in advance. Upon scheduling your party date with the studio, the party will open for online booking. All sessions must be prepaid. Due to the constraints of the party day, advance sign-up is required and there are no refunds.
Portrait party proofing and ordering takes place online. Guests have 10 days to place their order from the time galleries go live.
Portrait Party Packages: At booking, guests select from the following pre-paid package options. After the portrait party, they will have the option to purchase from the regular a la carte menu, or select from several print collections. In addition, canvas prints, session albums, mini books, photo jewelry, and more will also be available for purchase.
Session Only: $50
Session + $300 print credit: $300
Sessioin + CD of Images: $450
Hostess Rewards:
The event organizer and hostess is very important to the success of the party! As a result, there are special goodies available to her:
The portrait party hostess not only gets first pick of the session time slots, she also receives that session time for free with a minimum of 3 additional families signed up for the party.
In addition, if five or more families are signed up for the party, the hostess receives a complementary set of 3 identical 3×3 accordion albums designed around her favorite images.
For every $100 her guests spend during the 10 days their gallery is active, the hostess receives $10 in portrait credit.
Hostess Responsibilities:
1)Provide a shooting space. Depending on your home, I can set up a mini-studio in your living room, or we might just use your backyard! Or perhaps you have a park with some great spots for shady portraits – we could have it there!
2) Find some friends! A portrait party requires a minimum of 3 clients, but more are always welcome! Send friends to the online booking site to schedule their time slot.
3) Schedule your own session – we can arrange to have it done first, before any of the other guests arrive so your children are fresh and you don’t have to worry about a thing for the rest of the party.
