Halloween Tricks

IMG_2340I hope everyone had a fun Halloween! I loved seeing all the different costumes this year, and I love dressing up too! We went trick or treating with my goddaughter, who I declared a “Halloween Princess” because she didn’t want to wear the witches hat that went with it.

I unfortunately had a Halloween trick pulled on me by my laptop, which crashed Saturday morning. As of today, it appears to be fatal, so I’m going to be needing a new computer.

(All photos are fine, they’re stored on an independent drive and multiple backups of the files exist, so no worries there!)

So if I’m a bit slower returning email and such, please know its because I’m having to ‘borrow’ computers to get on. I will do my best to keep on schedule for everyones orders and proofings; hopefully I can find exactly what I need in stock tomorrow on the great shopping expedition.

IMG_2278_webIn silly news, here’s a picture of my husband and me dressed in our Halloween outfits: he’s Dr. House from the TV show “House” and I’m dressed as Dr. Cuddy. Though its hard to see, he’s wearing the “Princeton‑Plainsboro Teaching Hospital” T-Shirt.

Halloween Fun

IMG_2273This afternoon was some pre-Halloween fun at the home studio, where I met up with “Baset” the Egyptian cat goddess and her younger sister “Renée” from the cast of Barbie and the Three Musketeers.

Mommy custom made each girl’s costume so I know that no one out there trick or treating tomorrow will have anything like it!

I know that Lilia must be the real thing too, as my kitty Elizabeth sure liked her!  We even have a few pictures of Elizabeth getting cuddles on the set, purring away loudly.

Clara wasn’t quite sure what was going on at first, but once she realized that I had kitties and candy, she was good to go!

So here’s a quick sneak peak for mommy, who did a great job with their costumes.

Halloween Session Special

Halloween Special: Saturday October 10

IMG_9044Your kids will love the Halloween Trick or Treat Special because its a chance to go out and show off their new costumes and practice trick-or-treating before Halloween… You’ll not only give your eager little ones their October heart’s desire, but you’ll be getting some great pictures of them in costume while supporting a worthwhile cause: the Orange County Humane Society.

As the mommy of a black cat, I felt that Halloween’s charity should benefit animals such as my Wednesday, who were lost or abandoned before finding a home. Each child will bring two cans of cat food to the session (and will leave with some Halloween loot in exchange). Its a chance to remind our children about how they can care for their community by helping animals who are less fortunate than their own.

The Halloween Special features a unique themed set that is not available during regular sessions.

Price:  $25 for the first child, $10 each additional (plus cat food) for the session only.  Prints and other items are additional.

Session + CD pre-sale price is $75 for one child, add $20 for each additional child. This will give you all images of all children from the session on disc. The disc will be $75 a la carte after the session day.  Prints and other items are additional.

Print Packages:

Sweets: $40 - 1 5×7, 2 4x6s, 1 set wallets

Treats: $60 – 1 8×10, 2 5x7s, 1 set wallets

Tricks: $85 – 1 8×10, 2 5x7s, 4 4x6s, 1 set wallets

This set is only available on October 10. Sessions are being scheduled between 9am and 5:00pm.
